a culinary tour of Western Bhutan
Bhutanese cuisine has gained an unfair reputation of being boring and uninspired. Well, the Montane Bhutan team hopes to prove all the naysayers wrong with this tour package. On this tour, you will engorge yourself with delicious momos and some fiery ema datshi, imbibe the local rice wine known as Ara, and maybe try out some of the domestically produced beers such as Druk Lager and Dragon Stout. A word of caution – Bhutanese cuisine is not meant for those that are faint of tongue as the Bhutanese tend to be quite generous with their use of chili peppers while cooking.
